Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Manager to oversee our perioperative nursing team and ensure the highest standards of care for our cardiac patients. The ideal candidate will be a registered nurse with a strong background in cardiac care and demonstrated leadership abilities in an ambulatory surgical or hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor perioperative nursing staff, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements (The Joint Commission, CMS, and state regulations).
• Manage daily operations, including staffing, patient flow, and resource allocation.
• Oversee quality improvement initiatives and patient safety protocols.
• Participate in budget development and financial management for clinical departments.
• Collaborate with physicians and the administrative team to optimize surgical services.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in New Mexico; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
• Minimum 2–3 years of cardiac nursing experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• ACLS certification required.
• Proven track record in regulatory compliance and quality improvement.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead interdisciplinary teams.
